Weekly Wrap-up: Week 7

This week was great because we have a good routine going now!  First Sophie gets ready for the day-showers, breakfast, cleans bedroom and reads the Bible.  Then we have Table Time which consists of math, language arts, and history or science.  After lunch and a break Sophie finishes up anything from Table Time and then starts Tea Time. This is a more relaxed part of the day and includes art, music, exercise, foreign language, blogging, and story writing (she doesn't cover everything everyday).  On Friday we decided to go apple picking.  It was a gorgeous day, and Sophie's best friend just happend to be at the same apple orchard at the same time-what a blessing!

Math: Principles of Mathematics-Sophie's new math book came in she did lessons 1.1-2.2

English: Whodunit, Mysteries & More (online class)- Wednesday class, research on the underground railroad and 2 page writing assignment 

Art (online class): Friday class, Van Gogh, acrylics, and block printing

Reading: The Mystery of the Clockwork Sparrow by Katherine Woodfine

History: The Mystery of History Vol.1 Stonehenge, early Egyptians, and the Minoan civilization
Cooking/baking:  Apple crisp and apple yogurt coffee cake

Music:  Singing with youth group worship band
